Graveside funeral services are scheduled for 3:00 p.m., March 9, 2009 at South Park Cemetery for Mrs. Mary Virginia Stoltzfus, 97, of Roswell, NM who passed away March 4, 2009. The Dr. Hugh Burroughs of First Presbyterian Church will officiate the service.

Mary was born May 2, 1911 in La Junta, Colorado to Mr. and Mrs. David Eimen, both now deceased.

She married Ivan W. Stoltzfus on July 22, 1949 in the First Presbyterian Church in Phoenix, AZ, where they lived over 31 years. She was a stenographer and later worked in the Camelback Knitting Shop, Arizonas largest Yarn Selection for 17 years. In October 1980 she and her husband both retired and moved to Roswell, NM. Her beloved husband, Ivan preceded her in death on September 7, 1993.

Mary was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Roswell, the AARP, and Newcomers Club. She loved music and for many years sang in the First Presbyterian Church Choirs both in Phoenix and in Roswell.

Her survivors include her sisters, Ruth Miller of Sarasota, FL; and Erma Diener of Hollister, CA; her niece, Debbie Eimen; other relatives all out of state and the many, many friends here especially dearest friends, Nancy Dettmann and Zelda Moore.

Memorial contributions may be made to the First Presbyterian Church, 400 W. Third St., Roswell, NM 88201 or the charity of ones choice.
