Mary O'Hare

Memorial service for Mary V. O'Hare, 75, will be at 2:00 PM, Friday, March 11, 2016 at Ballard Funeral Home Chapel. Mary passed away Monday, March 7, 2016 at Eastern New Mexico Medical Center surrounded by the love of her family.

Mary was born August 28, 1940 to Thomas Edgar Woodson and Virginia Lee Hardy in Hannibal, Missouri. Mary Virginia O'Hare was a strong hard working independent woman and mother of 3. She was a caregiver to her younger sister Jane and a medical assistant for nearly 20 years. She loved anything outdoors like camping, hiking and traveling as well, she enjoyed time with family especially her grandchildren. Mary was such a caring, giving person. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed.

Mary is survived by her daughters: Lydia Doyle; Shelley Gardner and her husband Randy; Tamra O'Hare and her, partner Jeff; grandchildren: Rhonda Sanchez, Markus Druhot and wife Ciara; Matthew Doyle and partner Gabriel; Michael Gardner; Ashley Gardner; Amber Gardner; great grandchildren: Frank Amaro and wife Monicka, George "Andy" Sanchez, Deja Sanchez and husband Juan, Eric Sanchez, Michael Graveline, Daliyah Druhot, King Druhot, Aubree Gardner; Great greatgrandchildren: Savannah Rae Amaro, Nathaniel Amaro, Andrewiah Amaro, Patrick Amaro, Emerie Anchondo.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents: Virginia Lee and Thomas Edgar Sr., sister LeeAnn and brother, Thomas Edgar Jr.

Don't be afraid if I say that I love you, for love is nothing to fear. It is the very essence of life and the reason we are here to say those words I do not wish to keep you or make you bound, it quite simply means that I care. Know you are a being of light so soar like an eagle in flight.... Be open, Be honest, Be all that you can be and where ever these roads take us from, here you will always be special to us...
