Mary Lou Sedillo

A rosary is scheduled for 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 1, 2009 at the Ballard Funeral Home Chapel for Mary Lou Sedillo, 57, of Roswell who passed away November 30, 2009 at Eastern New Mexico Medical Center. A funeral mass is scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 2, 2009 at St. Johns Catholic Church. Fr. Juan Antonio Gutierrez, O.F.M. of St. Johns Catholic Church will officiate. Burial will follow at South Park Cemetery.

Mary was born on May 18, 1952 in Roswell, NM to Matias Sedillo and Alice Acevedo Sedillo. Her parents have preceded her in death as well as her husband Federico Perez.

Mary is survived by her daughter: Rosalinda Hudson and her husband Jarod of Fountain, CO; her brothers: Ernest Archuleta and Matias Sedillo both of Roswell; her sisters: Ernestine Archuleta of Albuquerque, Corrine Archuleta of Roswell and Clara Sedillo of Albuquerque; and her grandchildren: Jarod Hudson of Fountain, CO and Jilian Hudson.

Mary was a life long resident of Roswell. She was a member of St. Johns Catholic Church and volunteered for the church in Religious Education as well as volunteering for the Good Will. She also enjoyed working in her garden. She treasured her grandchildren and the time she spent with them. Mary was a wonderful and giving person, she will be truly missed.

Pallbearers will be Tino Archuleta, Ernest Archuleta, Frankie Archuleta, Rudy Archuleta, Jarod Hudson and Joe Rodriguez.
