Mary Davinia Gonzales

Mary D. Gonzales passed away Wednesday, March 24, 2021 in Las Cruces, NM surrounded by her family. A rosary will be held at 1:30 pm, Monday, March 29, 2021 with memorial service following at 2:00 pm, at the Ave Maria Center, 410 E. Bland St., Roswell, NM. Burial will follow at South Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 2:00 to 4:00 pm, Saturday, March 27, 2021 at Ballard Funeral Home.

Mary was born on July 27, 1929 in Reventon, NM to Max and Anna Chavez who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by one son Michael Ray Gonzales, brothers Joe Rosario Chavez, Ernest Chavez and sister Anna Rae Fletcher.

She is survived by her children Fred Gonzales and wife Norma, Cecilia Viverette and husband Chuck, Richard Gonzales and wife Lydia, Tommy Gonzales and wife Rosi, DeeDee Neal and husband Clifton and many grand, great-grand and a few great-great grandchildren. Also, many cousins and her very special Aunt Lucy Telles and special friend/cousin Patricia Sanchez. Mary will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Mary loved cooking and spending time with family.
