Mary Ann Borba

Mary Ann Borba, 82, passed away on June 30, 2010 at Eastern New Mexico Medical Center in Roswell, New Mexico. A rosary is scheduled for 7:00 pm, Monday, July 5, 2010 at Ballard Funeral Home Chapel. A funeral mass is scheduled for 2:00 pm Tuesday, July 6, 2010 at St. Johns Catholic Church. Father Juan Antonio Gutierrez, OFM will officiate. Burial will follow at the Buena Suerte Ranch located at 3700 Lovers Lane in Roswell, NM.
Mary was born February 23, 1928 in Stevenson, California to Edward Gonsalves and Ida Gregoria. Her parents preceded her in death.
Mary was married to her loving husband John for 64 years, he preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death is her brother John.
Mary is survived by her three daughters: Dianna Myers of Merced, CA., Linda Carl Durham and Janet Borba, both of Roswell, NM one sister, Delores Garcia of Turlock, CA six grandchildren: Eddie Carolyn McCrary of Merced, CA., Sherry Jefferson of Merced, CA., Allen Nora Durham of Manteca, CA., Tanya Jared Wright of Manteca, CA., Carla Skip Winfrey of Modesto, CA. and Johnny Borba of Roswell, NM., along with ten greatgrandchildren.
Mary was a homemaker and was a resident of Roswell for 13 years, she also lived in Modesto, Ca for 40 years. Mary was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church Ceres and had volunteer for St. Stanlaus School. She was an avid movie watcher she loved going to the movie theater every chance she got. Other things she enjoyed was going to Bingo and her flower garden. Mary loved taking little trips to Ruidoso. The one thing she enjoyed most out of life is her family. She loved spending time with her family and her grandchildren.
