Martha Dennis

Martha Jane Dennis entered eternal life peacefully on Saturday, August 4, 2018 surrounded by her loved ones. Born, August 6, 1925 to Rue and Gladys Roberts, her life was full of adventure, hardships and fun. She always had an open-door policy to everyone, everything, that ever crossed her path, leaving nothing but love and encouragement

Throughout her life she was a ranch hand, a waitress, a cook, housewife and owner of a bar. After she retired she became a private caregiver. Janie (as she was known) loved to fish, camping, reading, and watch old western movies.

Preceding her in death are her parents Rue and Gladys; sister Billie Hamilton; 4 children Willie Rue, Raymond, Rick and Mary Jane; granddaughter Amanda; grandson Heath; great grandson Michael Angelo.

Survivors include sons Carson (Jane), Bill, Mike and Ronnie; daughter Jimmie; 14 grandchildren; 39 great grandchildren; 8 great-great grandchildren; son-in-law David Louton; two sisters Mary Blaine (Lamar) and Lois Roberts, numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial celebration of life will be held at 2 pm, Saturday, August 18, 2018 at Ballard Funeral Home Chapel.
