Marshall M. Elder, 96, of Roswell passed away May 23, 2010 at a local care center.
Marshall was born on December 7, 1913 in Wise County, TX to Thomas Elder and Era Mae Murphy, who have preceded him in death. He is also preceded in death by his wife Mary on December 11, 1996 as well as a brother, two sisters and a nephew Tommy Hartsell.
Marshall is survived by his two nieces: Keta Dodson of Friona, TX and Rea Hall of Tyler, TX his nephew: Bobby Joe Mann of Meridian, TX and his special friend who has cared and taken care of him for the last 10 years: Elaine Harrison of Roswell.
Marshall has lived in Roswell for 11 years moving here from Ruidoso. He worked as a farmer and a real estate agent.
Interment has taken place in Friona, TX.
