Graveside services are scheduled for 11 am, Tuesday, July 31, 2012 at South Park Cemetery for Marretta Lee Parker 79, who passed away on Friday, July 27, 2012 at Mission Arch Care Center. Chaplin Cecil Kimberlin of Vista Care will be officiating.

Marretta was born August 3, 1932 in Duncan, OK to Thomas Lee Towler and Clamie Leeosia Hooser. Her parents preceded her in death. Marretta married Jay William Parker on September 8, 1947 in Carlsbad, NM. He preceded her in death on May 26, 1980. Marretta is also preceded in death by her daughter Peggy AnnParker granddaughters Amanda Parker and Rebecca Mendoza grandson Jimmy Parker Jr. great grandson Hayden Parker and her sister Neva Dove.

Marretta is survived by her sons Jimmy Parker and wife Linda of Roswell, Larry Parker and wife Sue of Houston, Billy Parker of Roswell, Tommy Parker and wife Vicki of Roswell and Ronnie Parker and wife Joyce of South Carolina daughter Betty Hall of Roswell sisters Jean Bristow, Johnnie Wright, Wanda Lane, Estelle Russell, Louella Stevens, Wannnema White and Oletta Mask grandchildren Jerrie Besing, Jay Parker, John Parker, Jason Parker, Billy Parker, Bobby Parker, Nick Parker, Amos Parker, Larry Parker, Heath Parker, Matt Parker and Andrea Cruz as well as twentyseven great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Serving as pallbearers are John Parker, Jason Parker, Jay Parker, John Besing, Manuel Payne and P.J. Raymer. Honorary pallbearers are Billy Parker Jr., Bobby Parker, Nick Parker, Amos Parker Larry Parker, Heath Parker and Matt Parker.
