It is with immense sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend, eldest daughter of Lygia and August Damian "AD" Johckheer.

She is survived by her children: John and Gail Bateman (North Carolina), Mylene and Mark Kelly-Bateman (New Mexico), Lisa Bateman (Florida), Chris and Lynne Bateman (England), Philip and Jill Bateman (England), and Nigel Bateman (Australia). Her grandchildren and great grandchildren: Sean, Johnny, Shelby, Damian, Savannah, Daniel, Sara, Noel, Ross, Clare, Rebecca, Frankie, Marie, Theresa, Anna, James, Adam, William, Joseph, Elizabeth, Abigail, Carter, and Emilio. Her siblings: Atlee "Taki" Schotborgh, and Ellie "Chel" and Bertie van Meeteren. Nieces and nephews: Margie Petit and family, Patty Martijn and family, Suyen Marion and family, Sereya Schotborgh and family, Suniva Galarraga and family, Nanette Klee and family, Bobby Fijnje and family Richard van Meeteren and family, and Michele van Meeteren. Her cousins: The Families Yrausquin, The Families Johckheer, The Families Pietersz, and The Families Sutherland.

She is happily reunited with the love of her life, John Carter Bateman, and their beloved son Patrick Michael Sutherland Bateman.
