Marion K. Telesco Saint
Marion K. Telesco Saint, 62, formerly of Roswell, NM, passed away early on Saturday, December 22, 2007 in Berwyn, IL after a courageous battle with COPD.
Born in Biloxi, MS she grew up in Roswell. She married Gerald D. Saint in 1962, and in 1969 the family moved to Albuquerque, NM where she worked for Groves Archery range as an office manager. From 1971-1983 she worked for Gorman Engineering as an office manager. Marion moved back to Roswell, NM in 1984 as was employed by The Roswell Daily Record as an advertising representative and worked her way up to the position of advertising director. In 2001 she was forced to retire because of her illness. In 2006 she moved to Illinois to be closer to her daughter and the prospect of new treatment options.
Marion has two children. Her son, Richard Saint is married to Susan Radford Saint reside in Mineral Wells, TX. They have four children John, Brandon, Kayla, and Kendra and two grandchildren Her daughter, Susan Saint Waxweiler is married to John Waxwieler Jr. and reside in Lockport, IL. They have two children a daughter Tiler and son John III Jack.
Marion is survived by her two children and their families, her sisters Barbara Skains of Roswell, NM; Carol Norton of Brawley, CA; Gayle Derr of Fresno, CA; and her twin brother Harry Telesco of Roswell, NM
Marion was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Carla Jean Saint and her parents Harry a Telesco Sr. and Fayne Fern Penn Telesco.
She was a lifetime member of the Roswell Red Coats and Senior Circle and has always considered Roswell her home.
A Graveside service will be Saturday, December 29, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at South Park Cemetery. Mike Bush will officiate.
