Margarita Delgado

A rosary is scheduled for 7:00pm., on Monday, January 23, 2012 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Dexter for Margarita Delgado, 69, who passed away at her home in Dexter on January 20, 2012. A funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday, January 24, 2012 at Immaculate Conception with Deacon Jesus Herrera officiating. Burial will follow at the Hagerman Cemetery.

Margarita was born on July 20, 1942 in Durango, Mexico to Victor Nevarez and Carmen Lerma. Both her parents preceded her in death as did her husband, Luis Carlos Delgado.

She is survived by her son Luis Manuel Delgado and his wife Sandra of Dexter daughter Maria Del Socorro Delgado and Nicolas Natividad of Dexter grandchildren Luis Manuel Delgado Jr. and wife Cynthia, Sandra Elizabeth Delgado, Nicole Natividad, Jeremy Natividad, Alexis Puentes, and Alex Puentes great grandchild Aliha Natividad.

Margarita was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Margarita loved to cook her delicious chile rellenos, millionaire pies and pineapple cakes. She also loved to sing, dance and listen to music by Vicente Fernandez. Her granddaughter Sandrita would sing to her in her final days, and also her grandson Luis Soruyo, would sing songs to her from Los Huracanes del Norte, La Maquinaria Nortea and many more. She never missed her afternoon soap operas. She loved to talk, and joke around, she was always asking for her daughter Maria, her grandchildren, Jeremy and Nicole and her great granddaughter, Aliyah Natividad. She will never forget her conversations she had with her friends. She will be missed and we will always keep her in our hearts. May she rest in peace, my beautiful grandmother.

Pallbearers will be Luis Manuel Delgado Jr., Jeremy Natividad, Joe Borjas, Juan Carlo Sotelo, David Solis, Jr. Puentes, and Matthew Mireles.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Francisca Olivas, Sandra and Sandra Elizabeth Delgado, Luis and Cynthia Delgado, April Meagher, Luis Manuel Delgado, Nicole Natividad, and Maria Delgado.

Un rosario se llevara a cabo a las 7:00 p.m., el Lunes, Enero 23, 2012 en la iglesia Immaculate Conception para Margarita Delgado, 69, que fallecio en su hogar en Dexter Enero 20, 2012. Un servicio se llevara a cabo a las 11:00 a.m. el Martes, Enero 24, 2012 en Immaculate Conception con Deacon Jesus Herrera oficiando. El entierro seguira en el panteon de Hagerman.

Margarita nacio el 20 de Julio, 1942 en Durango, Mexico. Sus padres Victor Nevarez y Carmen Lerma la preceden en muerte, igual que su esposo Luis carlos Delgado.

Ella es sobrevivida por su hijo, Luis Manuel Delgado y su esposa Sandra de Dexter, hija maria Del Socorro Delgado y Nicolas Natividad de Dexter, nietos Luis Manuel Delgado Jr. y su esposa Cynthia, Sandra Elizabeth Delgado, Nicole Natividad, Jeremy Natividad, Alexis Puentes, y Alex Puentes Bisnieta, Aliyah Natividad.

Margarita le encantaba concinar sus deliciosos chile rellenos, millionaire pies, y sus pastels de pia. Tambien le encantaba cantar, bailar, y escuchar la musica de Vicente Fernandez. Su nieta Sandrita le cantaba en sus ultimos dias, y tambien de su nietoLuis, Soruyo, que le cantaba las canciones de Los Huracanes del Norte, La Maquinaria Nortea, y muchos mas. Nunca se le pasaban sus novelas por las tardes. Siempre platicaba, jugetiaba, y preguntaba por su hija Maria, sus nietos, Jeremy y Nicole, y su bisnieta Aliyah natividad, y nunca se le olvidara sus platicadas que tuvo con sus comadres. Se le extraara y siempre la llevaremos en nuestros corazones. Que en paz dezcanse mi grandma Hermosa.
