Margaret Sheehan Riley

A rosary is scheduled for 7:00 p.m., Friday, February 20, 2009 at St. Peters Catholic Church for Margaret Sheehan Riley, 100, of Roswell who passed away on February 17, 2009 at a local care facility. A funeral mass is scheduled for 10:00a.m., Saturday, February 21, 2009 at St. Peters Catholic Church. Fr. Paul Juniet O.F.M. will officiate. Burial will follow the service at South Park Cemetery.

Margaret was born September 15, 1908 in Dallas, Texas to Patrick J. Sheehan and Margaret G. Moore Sheehan .Her parents have preceded her in death as well as her husband Ambrose H. Riley Jr. and a sister, Ann Patteson.

Margaret is survived by a nephew, Tom Patteson of Roswell, nieces, Margaret Brower of Colorado Springs, Co., Patsy McGinty of Hereford, Tx, Mary Jane Madison of Roswell, and Carol Ruminski of Colorado Springs, Co. Other survivors include 18 great nieces and nephews and 23 great, great, nieces and nephews.

Margaret has lived in Roswell for 19 years and worked as an accountant for the Civil Service.

Pallbearers will be Richard Madison and his sons Daniel, Seth and Thomas, son in law Gus Barron, also Scott McGinty, Ryan Burns and Stan Park
