A rosary is scheduled for 7:00 pm, Monday, August 1, 2011 at St. Johns Catholic Church for Margaret Montoya 62, who passed away Thursday, July 28, 2011 at Eastern New Mexico Medical Center. Funeral mass is scheduled for 10:00 am, Tuesday, August 2, 2011 also at St. Johns Catholic Church. Father Juan Antonio Gutierrez, O.F.M. will officiate.

Margaret was born June 26, 1949 in Roswell, NM to Eusebio and Annie Talavera Aguilar. Her parents preceded her in death. She is also preceded in death by her son Victor Tesillo, three brothers Pete Aguilar, Joseph Aguilar and David Aguilar and one sister Mary Jane Aguilar.

Margaret is survived by her husband Primitivo Montoya brothers Eusebio Aguilar Jr. of Alamogordo, NM and Danny Aguilar of Roswell, NM nephews David Aguilar, Stephen Aguilar and Christopher Jon Aguilar nieces Gertrude, Grace and Loretta and best friend Benny Lujan.

She was a lifelong resident of Roswell and a member of St. Johns Catholic Church. Margaret was a Hospice volunteer for many years.

Pallbearers will be Steve Hernandez, Nick Aguilar Jr., Danny Aguilar, Augustine Aragon, Larry Vegara and Johnny Gamboa.

The family will be receiving friends at 1 Forest Place following the mass.
