Graveside services are scheduled for 10:00 am, Saturday, February 14, 2015 at South Park Cemetery for Margaret Lee Langenegger, 90, who passed away Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at her home. Fr. Joseph Pacquing of Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church will officiate.
Margaret was born June 10, 1924 to Simon and Julia Gomez in Otis, NM. who both preceded her in death in addition to her husband Ross Langenegger.
Those left to cherish her memory are her children; Frank Silva Jr. and wife Carolyn of Hagerman, NM, John D. Langenegger and wife Cynthia of Las Cruces, NM, and Judy Sanchez and husband Ralph of Hagerman, NM, her siblings; Fermin Gomez, Louis Gomez, Levi Gomez, Brena Gallego, Teresa Gomez, Maggie Gomez, Anita Garcia, Victoria Datchover, and Margarita Gomez, her grandchildren; Michael Silva Sr. and wife Josie, Jeffrey Silva and wife Lili, Leah Bradfute and husband David, Jared Langenegger and wife Aaron, Colton Langenegger and wife Sara, Jashua Sanchez and fiancé Kristen, Jalyne Hopkins and husband Kevin, her great grandchildren; Michael Silva Jr. and wife Mikaylah, Mathew Silva, Alyssa Silva, Caleb Silva, Jayden Walsh, David W. Bradfute, Kaela Bradfute, Josiah Sanchez, Jamison Sanchez, Jedidiah Hopkins, J'Adyson Hopkins, Isaac Arias, and Joseph Page, one great-great grandchild; Mai-El Silva.
Margaret was part of the Catholic Daughters in Lake Arthur and Hagerman, V.P. of the PTA for Lake Arthur schools; she also took part in organizing of the Fall Festival for Lake Arthur schools.
Serving as pallbearers; Michael Silva Sr., Jared Langenegger, Joshua Sanchez, Gilbert Gomez, David Gomez, and Ralph Sanchez. Honorary pallbearers; Colton Langenegger, David Bradfute, Daniel Gomez, Ben Gallego, Jeffrey Silva, Michael Silva Jr., and Kevin Hopkins.
