A prayer service is scheduled for 7 pm, Thursday, May 31, 2012 at Church on the Move for Manuel Avelar Jr. 34, who passed away on Sunday, May 27, 2012 in Clovis, NM. A funeral service is scheduled for 10 am, Friday, June 1, 2012 also at Church on the Move. Pastor Troy Smotherman of Church on The Move will be officiating with burial to follow at South Park Cemetery.

Manuel was born February 12, 1978 in Roswell, NM to Manuel and Judy Ann Fresquez Avelar Cruz. He is preceded in death by his daughter Ariela Mia Avelar, grandparents Joe O. and Irene Fresquez grandfather Manuel Avelar and grandmother Maria Avelar Cruz and his aunt Cindy Ramirez.

Manuel is survived by his wife Sarai Avelar son Gabriel Xavier Avelar parents Manuel and Judy Avelar brothers Jaime Fresquez, Daniel Avelar and Manuel Garcia sister Sylvia Leticia Avelar grandmother Eva Fresquez great grandmother Mary Peck aunts Debbie Martinez and husband Eduardo, Concepcion Avelar, Verginia Avelar, Eloisa Balderama, Tracey Prudencio and husband Joe uncles Ramon Avelar, Armando Avelar, Adolfo Avelar, Anthony Fresquez, Joe R. Fresquez and wife Sylvia and Raymond Anthony Fresquez nieces and nephews Ariella Mia Avelar, Savannah, JJ, David liitle buddy Fresquez, Daniel Avelar, Davian, Darriuz and Marsaydez and numerous cousins.

Pallbearers will be Jaime Fresquez, Daniel Avelar, Manuel Garcia, Raymond Anthony Fresquez, Joe R. Fresquez, Antonio Ramirez, Chris Fresquez and Joel Fresquez. Honorary pallbearer will be Mario Esperanza.
