Luz M. Burciaga

A memorial service is scheduled for 3:00 p.m., at Ballard Funeral Home Chapel, March 22, 2007 for Luz M. Burciaga, 94, who passed away March 15, 2007 at a local care center. Adam Soliz of Spanish Presbyterian Church will officiate.

Luz was born on May 10, 1912 to Julian and Jesusita Martinez in Torreon, Mexico. Both parents have preceded her in death, as well as her husband Antonio Tony Burciaga in 1974 and a son Saul Gonzales in 2002.

Luz is survived by her sons; Jesus Gonzales of California and Hector Burciaga of Texas; her daughters: Linda Sanchez of California and Velia Malleg of California.
