Lujeria Trujillo

No services will be held at this time for Lujeria Trujillo, 74, of Roswell who passed away on March 17, 2009 at Eastern New Mexico Medical Center. She was cremated as her wishes.

Lujeria was born on October 30, 1934 in Hondo, NM to Severo Otero Sedillo and Rachel Veyescas Sedillo. They both preceded her in death.

On December 28, 1949 she married Joseph A. Trujillo Sr. in Roswell. He survives her at the family home.

After almost 60 years of marriage they never left each others side. She loved the outdoors and was Josephs hunting and fishing partner. She enjoyed cooking for her family, and always made sure there was enough to eat. Her mission was to take care of her granddaughter, and great-grandchildren. Those babies were everything to her.

Her survivors include her son, Joseph A. Trujillo Jr. of Roswell; daughter, Anita Trujillo; brothers, Wilfred Sedillo, Severo Sedillo Jr. and Raymon Sedillo; sister, Dolores Valle; granddaughter, Angela Ibarra; and great-grandchildren, Johnny Ray, Felipe, Angelito, and Mianna Ibarra. Lujeria will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Gramo, my heaven on earth, you were the place I would run to for help in all my hard times. You could always make me feel better. You brought me comfort, guidance, laughter and many beautiful memories. You showed me an unconditional love that lasts lifetimes. You taught me my independence. You showed me what it is to be courageous. Above all you taught me to be a goal seeker and to follow my dreams. You have touched my life so many numerous ways. I cant begin to say how thankful I am to have had you through this part of my life. You will always be here with me in my heart and soul. I promise to walk with your memory forever. You were our angel here on earth called to watch over us in heaven today; until we meet again. I miss you and love you Gramo.
