Luis C. Barraza

A rosary is scheduled for 7:00 p.m., Thursday, March 1, 2007 at St. Johns Catholic Church for Luis C. Barraza, age 46, who passed away February 27, 2007 at Eastern New Mexico Medical Center. A resurrection mass is scheduled 10:00 am, Friday, March 2, 2007 at St. Johns Catholic Church. Fr. Juan Montoya, O.F.M will officiate. Interment will follow at South Park Cemetery.

Luis was born on January 10, 1961 in Camargo, Chihuahua to Tomas and Ramona Barraza.

Luis married Guillermina D. Barraza on September 8, 1984 in Delicias, Chihuahua. She survives him at the family home.

Luis is also survived by his son: Carlos Barraza of Roswell; his daughter: Alejandra Barraza of Roswell; his sister: Maria de la Luz Barraza of Delicias, Chihuahua and Elia Perez of Roswell, NM; his grandparents: Isidoro and Felipa Herrera of Camargo, Chihuahua, and Jesus Barraza and Refugio Escajeda of Camargo, Chihuahua.

Luis lived in Roswell for 12 years and was a member of St. Johns Catholic Church and the Association of Caporales Charros.

Pallbearers will be Carlos Isidoro Barraza, Ricardo Perez, Arturo Dominguez, Eden Salazar, Moises Gallardo and Jamie Delgado.
