Lucy was born August 19, 1935 to Manuel C. Miranda and Jesusita R. Miranda in Mountainair, NM. Lucy was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family. She had hands that could craft, sew, and make or do anything. With those hands she prayed to God, raised up her loved ones, and lifted those in need. Lucy was involved in many charitable works including tent revivals, Rejoice Prison Ministry, and had been singing for decades as a member of church choirs, most recently as a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church Choir. Lucy had a beautiful voice, loved to dance, and had a memorable smile that would warm your heart. Her kindness was felt by everyone she ever came into contact with. Lucy had a beautiful, admirable soul and was devoted to her Faith. She enjoyed reading her Bible and encouraged countless others to believe in God and grow in their own Faith, especially her family. She was dedicated to her family and was ever selfless, compassionate, and endearing. She had a soft touch with an unforgettably strong spirit. She was an inspiration to all. Describing such a beautiful woman inside and out, would fill the pages of many books. As the heart of the family, Lucy will be forever loved and never forgotten.

Lucy is survived by her brothers, Manuel, Porfirio and Eloy; sisters, Carmen, Mary, and Lillie; sons, Davy and Ricky; daughter Tina; her 15 grandchildren, Katrina, Tasheena, Casey, Christopher, Erica, Joshua, Terra, Sirina, Angelica, Isaac, Arthur, Brittney, Victor, and Marcy; and 37 great grandchildren.

Lucy will be welcomed to Heaven by her parents, Manuel and Jesusita Miranda; her sister, Connie; her sons, Jesse, Ricky, and Baby; her daughter Lisa; grandson, Nathan; and great granddaughter Denease.

Serving as pallbearers are Davy, Manuel, Tasheena, Katrina, Victor, Marcy, Terra, Sirina, Timothy, Justin, Eloy, and Joshua. Honorary pallbearers are Cassandra, Romeo, and Xavier.
