A viewing will be recited at 9:00 a.m., on Monday, January 3, 2022 at Ballard Funeral Home, for Lucina Ibarra, 67, of Roswell who passed away on December 28, 2021 in Roswell, NM. Interment will follow at South Park Cemetery at 2:00 p.m., Monday, January 3, 2022.

Lucina was born on July 19, 1954 in Fresnillo, Zacatecas to José and Alta Chairez. They have preceded her in death. She has also been preceded in death by three sisters: Magdalena Fernandez, Gloria Santillan, Amelia Colon.

She is also survived by two sons: Julian Ibarra and Cesar Ibarra, both of Roswell and two daughters Lucy Ibarra and Iris Ibarra, both of Roswell; two brothers Carmelo Chairez from San Jose, CA and Rodolfo Chairez from Roswell, NM; three sisters Margarita Mendez, Veronica Cruz, both from Roswell, NM and Alicia Coss from El Paso, TX; twelve grandchildren: Roman Ibarra, Miguel Ibarra, Cidelia Ibarra, Santiago Ibarra, Vividiana Ibarra, Selene Espino, Jose Espino, Jesse Leyba, Mireya Leyba, Ariella Leyba, Cesar Ibarra Jr, and Ciena Ibarra, and five great grandchildren Francisco Hernandez, Paris Ibarra, Marcelleno Ibarra, Azariah Ibarra, Ezaiah Ibarra.

She was a homemaker who loved spending time with her grandchildren.
