Louie Leo SenabrbrLouie Leo Sena born April 17th, 1941 in Santa Rosa New Mexico. He passed peacefully at home Friday morning December 11th 2009, surrounded by friends and loved ones. A prayer service is scheduled for 7:00, Tuesday, December 15, 2009 at the Ballard Funeral Home. A memorial mass is scheduled for Wednesday, December 16, 2009 at 10:00 a.m., at St. Johns Catholic Church. Fr. Juan Antonio will officiate. Burial will follow at South Park Cemetery. brHe is preceded in death by his parents Manuel G. Sena and Antonia Sena, brothers Raymond and Bonnie Sena, a sister, Elena Sena, and his beloved wife Veronica Betty Sena. He is survived by his son Manuel Sena, wife Veronica, and grandchildren Gino, Destiny, Lillie and Veronica, stepsons: Rick Mendoza of Artesia, wife Cory, grandsons: Jacob, Jason and Jeremiah, Mike Mendoza of Los Lunas and wife Marylou, Louie Mendoza and granddaughter: Maria. A dear friend and companion Minnie Garcia. Sons: Johnnie and Ronnie Garcia and many grandchildren including Crystal Martinez. His sister, Linda Pantoja and husband Robert. Niece: Lana Candelaria and children, Manuel and Elisa. Niece: Roberta and nephew Darren Pantoja and many relatives and friends.brLeo Sena, a lifetime resident of Roswell graduated from Roswell High School in 1959 and joined the United States Navy and was honorably discharged in 1964. Leo, after marrying his wife Veronica owned and operated Leos Plumbing in Roswell since 1976 with son Manuel and true friend and co-worker Pat Chaves. Leo had a love for life and served the community sharing many wonderful times with friends and family and many weekends with Minnie in Ruidoso. Special gratitude goes to the staff of Roswell Home Care and Hospice.brHonored pallbearer will be Gino Sena. Honorary pallbearers are Manuel and Daren Pontoja and Johnny and Ronnie Garcia.brArrangements have been entrusted to Ballard Funeral Home and Crematory.
