Linda Nell Foster

Funeral services will be held at 2:30pm, Friday, February 1, 2013 at Ballard Chapel for Linda Nell Foster, 63, who passed away January 28, 2013 at Mission Arch Care Center. Mickey Lavato will be officiating with burial to follow at Hagerman Cemetery.

Linda was born May 11, 1949 in Hagerman, NM to Olen Earl Davis and Anna Christine Harless. Both of her parents preceded her in death. She is also preceded in death by her brother Earl Ray Davis and her sister Pat Sherwood.

Surviving her are her sons Greg Hancock and wife Lori of Phoenix, AZ, and Justin Crawford of Ft. Sumner, NM daughter Terri Aguirre of Roswell brothers Olen Dale Davis and wife Lanita of Canton, OK and Melby Hallford and wife Gertie of Olympia, WA nieces Christine Sherwood Gonzales, Michelle Brooks, Mandy Sherwood, Nicole Sherwood, Lani Espy, Katrina Buzzard, Sharon Hallford nephew Josh Davis, Anthony and Kevin Hallford grandchildren Kaleb Aguirre, Brandon Aguirre, Quentin Hancock, Faith Hancock, Andrielle Hancock and one great granddaughter Maddison Aguirre.

Linda was a member of NM Bar Association and Agape Board. She loved to jog and her hobby was photography. She graduated from Oklahoma City University in 2001, graduated ENMU Portales, worked as a CASA Volunteer and was also a private investigator.

After graduating from Oklahoma City University with a Doctorates degree, she returned to Roswell, NM and was an assistant District Attorney for a time before striking out on her own and opening her own law firm, Foster Law Firm, where she worked until her passing.

Serving as pallbearers will be Kaleb Aguirre, Brandon Aguirre, Quentin Hancock, Greg Hancock, Justin Crawford, and Homero Aguirre.

In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made in Lindas name to the

American Cancer Society, 1111 S. Pennsylvania Avenue, Roswell, NM 88201.
