Leroy Larry Wilburn

A memorial service is scheduled for 11 am, Saturday, February 25, 2012 at Highland Baptist Church for Leroy Larry Wilburn 71, who passed away Sunday, February 12, 2012 at his home. Pastor Richard Smith of Highland Baptist Church will be officiating. Leroy was cremated according to his wishes.

Leroy was born June 29, 1940 in Las Cruces, NM to Jordan and Margaret Hays Wilburn. His parents preceded him death. He is also preceded in death by his brother Jordan Daniel Wilburn.

Leroy is survived by his wife Clara Wilburn of the family home daughter Danitra David of Freemont, CA grandchildren Lacey Mendez and Sarah David his aunt Charolette Kimes of Bakersfield, CA and numerous cousins.

Leroy grew up in Las Cruces until the age of nine, his family then moved to California. He has lived in Roswell for the last five years and was a member of the Highland Baptist Church. Leroy loved to drive trucks and cook. He was a loving husband and a good dad. We will miss him dearly.
