Leona Mae Cook Morissette

There will be no services at this time for Leona Mae Cook Morissette, 90, of Roswell who passed away June 5, 2008 at Eastern New Mexico Medical Center.

Leona was born on December 29, 1917 in Attica, Ohio to Leon and Lillian Hepperly Eisenhart. Her parents have preceded her in death as well as one brother George in 2006.

Leona married Aryln Cook on May 29, 1939 in Ohio he preceded her in death in 1983. She then married Henry Cook in 1985 and preceded her in death in 1995. In 2001 she then married Leon Morrissette. He survives her at the family home.

Leona is survived by her son: Lee Cook of Roswell; her daughters: Linda Klein and husband Gilbert of Panama City, Florida; her brother: Wayland Walker of Attica, Ohio; as well as six grand children and eight great grandchildren.

Leona has lived in Roswell since 1995 and was a member of the St. Marks Lutheran Church.
