A memorial service is schedule for 11 A.M., Saturday, November 9, 2013 at Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church with Father Bill McCann presiding. Gus Barron, 45, passed away Saturday, November 2, 2013 at his home. Gus cremains will be buried at a later date at South Park Cemetery.
Gus was born August 9, 1968 in Mesquite, TX to William Kent Barron and Mary J. Scott. His father preceded him in death.
Those left to cherish his memory are his mother Mary Scottie Barron his former wife and friend Jill Barron former in laws Richard and Mary Jane Madison sons William Konnor Barron, Kevin Richard Barron, Iain August Barron daughter Hannah Jane Barron brother William Rand Barron sisters Valli Barron , April Hatfield and husband John, as well as life time best friend, brothers by choice Darin Goldston nieces and nephews Cassi Rincon, Ryan OMeara, Adrianna Hatfield, Brett Nevarez, Sommer Nevarez, Grant Wood and Shawn Wood.
Gus was a lifelong resident of Roswell. He thoroughly enjoyed being a father, and was lover of all children. Gus felt very connected to animals, and shared his passion through his business Vet Pharmacy Feed. He was also an avid gun collector and a proud member of NRA, Crossed Saber Society at NMMI and Alumni of NMMI. Gus love of music was contagious and lives on in his children.
