Kenneth Bridge

Kenneth Walter Bridge, 80, of Roswell, NM passed away Dec. 11, 2013. He was born to John and Constance Bridge Oct. 28, 1933, in Tunbridge Wells, Kent England. Kenneth served in the United States Army at Ft. Sam Houston, San Antonio Texas.

He was a Registered Nurse, and worked most of his career at, Eastern New Mexico Medical Center and retired from Ft. Stanton Hospital.
Kenneth was an avid stamp collector, and enjoyed reading, gardening and tinkering.

He is survived by Nancy Bridge, two sons, David Bridge and fiance Kirsten Coccodrilli of Arizona, Ian Bridge and wife Peggy of Texas, and daughter, Laura Weathers and husband Jeff of Roswell, NM.

Kenneth is also survived by his brothers: Donald Bridge, Michael Bridge, and sister Ann Best, and many nieces and nephews, all of England.

He was greatly loved by his four grandchildren, Cera Quintana, Christian Bridge, Lane and Bailey Eldridge.

He was preceded in death by both parents sisters, Daphne Penney and Peggy Head, and his son, Michael Bridge.

A rosary will be held in the chapel at Ballard Funeral Home and Crematory in Roswell on Friday, Dec. 20 at 7:00pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the United Way of Chaves County, or the charity of your choice.
