Kenneth was born July 18, 1937 in Amarillo, Texas to C.M. Baker and Veda Rogers. They preceded him in death.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife Correnia Cody Drummond Baker of Roswell sons Monte Baker and his wife Denise of Roswell and Hugh Baker and his wife Adriana of Roswell sisters Melveta Walker of Portales and Aileen McAlister of Portales granddaughter Gabby Baker of Roswell grandchildren Cole, Warren, Matt and Dusty Baker and wife Carolyn and his great grandchildren Paige and Logan Baker. He is also survived by his dog Su Su who he loved very much.
Kenneth loved his wife, sons, grandkids and greatgrandkids dearly and fiercely. Two of his great joys, besides his family were traveling in the motorhome throughout the US searching for nutcrackers for his collection and taking family and friends to the home games of the Dallas Cowboys. He never met a stranger and enjoyed sharing stories and memories. He was always a man of his word and when he told you something he stuck with it. Kenneth lived in Roswell since 1967 coming from Portales. He started trucking at age 14 and then got into custom farming. Soon after Baker Farms was established as a family owned farm business. He was an avid supporter of FFA and 4H.
In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made in Kenneths name to the local Cancer Society or Midway Assembly of God Church, PO Box 8067, Roswell, NM 88202.
