Keilah Nicole Renteria
Keilah was born January 26, 2001 & she left us to soon on March 25, 2018. She always had a smile on her face, an infectious laugh and her next adventure on her mind. Keilah was a very witty, sometimes smart mouthed, talented young woman. She never knew a stranger and loved making new friends. Her spontaneous and fearless attitude provided her with great joy, along her numerous journeys in which she shared with those she loved. Keilah you are loved and missed by many you will forever be in our hearts because from day one you have had our hearts. We love and miss you very much Love Mommy, Daddy and Bubba.

Keilah was a former student at Roswell High and Currently going to NM Connections High School she worked at Sonic and she also worked as an Assistant teacher at Fine Arts Camp at Grace Community Church.

She was preceded in death by her Grandfather M.C. Dowdy, Great Grandparents Toni Vasquez, Faye Kirkes, Leonard Dowdy, Polly Angell, Marvin Cutbirth, Hope and Al Lucero and numerous great uncles and aunts.

Those left to cherish her memories are her parents Katrina Dowdy and John A. Renteria; brother Jonathan Renteria and wife Samantha Carrillo of Albuquerque; grandparents Bea Silva of Roswell, Lendon and Vanessa York of Roswell, Johnny and Cathy Renteria of Austin, TX., Uncles and Aunts Timothy and Rosa York of Roswell, Chris and Trisha Renteria of Peru, Indiana, Cynthia Renteria of Roswell, Jessica Garza of Roswell and nephew Michael Renteria. Also surviving her are numerous cousins, great aunts and uncles and great great aunts and uncles.

Those left but not forgotten are her bb's Maddie, Halie, KJ, Jessica S., Jessica L., Desi H., Reyna, Raylynn and Alexis. Her name twin Keilab and many, many other friends who are too numerous to list. She loved you all unconditional and many other aunts and uncle bestowed upon through pure love (you know who you are).

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to The Suicide Awareness Foundation or Grace Community Fine Arts Camp.

Viewing will be held on Monday April 2, 2018 at Ballard Funeral Home from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Funeral Service will be held at Grace Community Church on Tuesday April 3, 2018 at 2:30 pm with Pastor Rick Hale officiating and Pastor Tim Arlet assisting.

Those chosen to serve as pallbearers are TJ Coleman, Noah Griffin, Josh Ramirez and Victor Ramirez and honorary pallbearers are Jonathan Renteria, Lendon York and Timothy York.

Forever in my Heart

You are forever in my Heart, the day will come, I know when all the rain has fallen, and the Sun begins to show I'll think of you in all I do, your warmth will touch my face you'll twinkle in the Starlight, and be held in each embrace. So please do not be saddened, if a tear for you I shed, but we had dreams and wishes, which I'll safely keep instead. Although it hurts, I understand you'd somewhere else to be, our time together has not passed, you'll always be with me in everyday, in every way, you'll always be a part my precious angel, you're forever in my heart.
