Will Be Sorely Missed

Kandis K. Rogers of Roswell, who lost her life after a fatal car accident on September 29, 2007, will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Kandis was born February 24, 1989 to Kevin K. and Lynne Rogers of Roswell, NM. She recently graduated from Robert H. Goddard Senior High School in May of 2007 and was pursuing a career as a direct care giver at the Espiranza House for the mentally ill and challenged.

Kandis was a very compassionate person who enjoyed helping the less fortunate. She was full of life and displayed an abundance of energy and brightness that knew no boundaries. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and living life to the fullest everyday.

Kandis is preceded in death by her paternal grandfather Douglas M. Rogers, Sr. of Roswell, NM and her maternal grandfather Phillip Larry Currin, of Cameron, NC.

Surviving her in death are both of her parents, Kevin and Lynne Rogers of Roswell, a sister Jennifer Pahl of Alamogordo, NM a brother, Kyle Rogers of Roswell, two grandmothers, Sue N. Rogers and Helen L. Currin, a grandfather, Bobby West all of Roswell, a great- grandmother, Gladys Mixon of Mabank, TX her aunts Nikki Thomas and Becky Jackson of Roswell, Erin Jackson of Fayetteville, AR, Sandi Rogers of Pleasantville, IA, and Kathy Mayfield of The Colony, TX, her uncles Mike and Doug Rogers of Roswell, and one nephew, Andrew Pahl of Alamogordo, NM. Kandis had many other great aunts, uncles and cousins who will miss her beautiful smile and warm presence. May she rest in Peace in the light of Gods eternal love.

Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 6, 2007 at Ballard Funeral Home and Crematory
