Judy Gonzalez

Graveside service for Judy Ann Gonzales, 67, of Dexter, NM will be at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at the Hagerman City Cemetery.

Judy was born July 30, 1949 to Paul Romero Sr. and Sophia Caroline Archuleta in Miami, New Mexico. Judy enjoyed spending her time with her family and home, she loved cooking, listening to music and hanging out at Lake Van in Dexter. She was a member of HIS House in Dexter, a very loving person and enjoyed helping others and was known as working at El Gomez for many years. Judy spent her last days happily surrounded by her children and grandchildren.

Judy's memories will be cherished by her partner of 9 years, Jimmy Trevino; her children, Kathy Rodriguez, Albert Romero, Luis Gonzalez Jr., Maria Gonzalez, and Michael Gonzalez; the father and step father to Ms. Gonzalez children Luis Gonzalez Sr.; siblings, Connie Jaquez, Paul Romero Jr., John Henry Archuleta, Annie Guara and Leroy Guara; grandkids, Anthony Maestas, Dalilah Rodriguez, Elvira Rodriguez, Sandra Rodriguez, Roberto Rodriguez, Destiny Romero, Amber Romero, Albert Jr. Romero, Nicollette Gonzalez, Luis Gonzalez III, Bernadette Montoya, Brittany Montoya, Edward Montoya, Mikaela Gonzalez, Nicholas Gonzalez and Lilianna Gonzalez; great grandchildren, Brianna Hernandez, Olando Romero, Brandon Luna, Derik Montoya, Sydney Grantier, Emma Quiroz and Addison Navarrette.

Judy was preceded in death by her brother, William Archuleta (Willie); parents, Sophia and Pablo Romero; daughter, Brenda Archuleta and a special sister-in-law, Emma Archuleta.
