Joyce Mason

Joyce Mason, 90. Our beloved Mother, Grandmother, and Great-Grandmother passed away on December 24, 2021. She passed peacefully at home. reuniting with her late husband Larry Mason and her son, Tim Mason who both passed many years before her, as well as her parents, her sister, and her late nieces & late nephews.

Graveside service and Internment will be on Friday, January 7, 2022 at 10:00 AM at South Park Cemetery in Roswell, NM.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her two daughters, Nina Valenzuela and Julia Reynolds (George), three grandchildren Meaghan Greathouse (Ben), Tim Valenzuela (Kim), and Amanda Hatch ( Brendon), and her 7 Great-Grandchildren: Tristan, Braedon, Mason, Peyton, Lilly, Gabe, and Graham.

Also left to cherish her memory is her sister-in-law, Dorothy Scherlen of Borger, TX, a childhood friend, Minnie Smith, of Baton Rouge, LA., and our long-time family friend, Howard Herring, as well as a few other close family friends and neighbors.

She loved the color pink ,and enjoyed reading at home, especially when she was reading her bible. She loved hugs and visits from all her family, and she really enjoyed being called Nana by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by all.
