A rosary is scheduled for 7 pm Wednesday, June 6, 2012 at Ballard Chapel for Joseph B. Rollwitz 77, who passed away Thursday, May 31, 2012 in Durango, CO. A mass is scheduled for 11:30 am, Thursday, June 7, 2012 at St. Peters Catholic Church with Father Charlie Martinez officiating. Joseph will be cremated according to his wishes and will be interned at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Denver, CO with his first wife.

Joseph was born May 4, 1935 in Rowena, TX. to Gerhard and Marcella Jurek Rollwitz. His parents preceded him in death.

Joseph is survived by his son Douglas Rollwitz from Maryland his daughter Lesleigh Keetch of Colorado two sisters, Helen Pinon of Missouri and Mary Menges of Mississippi three grandchildren and six nieces and nephews.

Joseph attended St. Peters Catholic School and was in the 1st graduating class. He lived in Denver, CO for 30 years and moved back to Roswell in 2001. He was a member of St. Peters Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus. He was a retired System Analyst from the Aerospace industry.
