Joseph A. Flores

Joseph A. Flores, 55, of Albuquerque, New Mexico passed away on May 15, 2020 due to natural causes. Joseph was born on September 17, 1964 to Roy and Tonita Flores in Roswell, NM.  Shortly after graduating from Ganesha High School in 1983, he started a family with his wife Elsa Bravo. They had three children, Dennison, Mark and Thomas. In 2000 he went on to study Social Work at Eastern New Mexico. He received his Bachelor’s degree in social work from New Mexico Highlands University.  He was most proud of his work as a Counselor and Teacher.

In the later years of his life, he would travel the country to explore new places and visit old friends. He would bring smiles and joy to those who were close to him.  He loved karaoke and the California Angels.

Joe is proceeded in death by his Mother Tonita; brother Roy Flores and sister Linda Garcia. He is survived by his loving children, father Roy; sisters Jennifer and Debbie; brother Orlando and numerous nieces and nephews.

He will be missed for is wit, words of encouragement and philosophical views.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am, Friday, June 5, 2020 at Ballard Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Gerry Chavez of Christ’s Church officiating. Visitation will be held from 1:00 to 4:00 pm, Thursday, June 4, 2020 at Ballard Funeral Home.
