Jose Frescas

A rosary is scheduled for 7 pm, Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at Ballard Chapel for Jose Frescas, 62, who passed away Saturday, April 19, 2014 at his home in Roswell. Mass is scheduled for 10 am, Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at St. Peters Catholic Church with Father Martin Cornejo will be officiating. Burial will follow at South Park Cemetery.

Jose was born August 2, 1951 in Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico to Ernesto and Beatriz Frescas. His father preceded him in death along with his brother Polo Frescas.

Those left to cherish his memory are mother Beatriz Frescas his wife Felipa Frescas sons J. Marcos Frescas, J. Manuel Frescas, Andres Frescas and Jesus Enrique Sanchez daughters Sonia Frescas, Blanca Pineda, M. Angelica Frescas brothers Arturo Frescas, Ernesto Frescas, Enrique Frescas, Roberto Frescas and Ricardo Frescas sisters Ernestina Cardona, Maria Isela Frescas and his grandchildren Roberto, Luis, Pablo, Maya, Baby Mannie, Antonio, Jasmin, Jessica, Jennifer and Luis E.

Jose lived in Roswell for the past 11 years coming from El Paso, TX. He was a member of San Juan Catholic Church and Movimiento De Cursillos in El Paso, TX. He enjoyed spending time with his family, playing the guitar and singing. He loved to play with his grandchildren, telling jokes and making his family laugh.

Serving as pallbearers are J. Marcos Frescas, J. Manuel Frescas, Andres Frescas, Jesus Enrique Sanchez, Arturo Frescas, Ricardo Frescas, Luis Macias, Roberto Pineda and Julian Sanchez.
