No local services will be held for John R. Sieg 80, who passed away on Monday, August 27, 2012 in Lubbock, Texas.

John was born January 14, 1932 in New York City, New York to Charles J. and Pauline P. Pernicka Sieg. His parents preceded him in death. John married Yvonne O Lise on August 12, 1952 in Reno, NV. , she preceded him in death in 1993. He is also preceded in death his brothers Victor and Thayer his son John J. Sieg and his grandson David Allen Sieg.

John is survived by his brother Charles M. Sieg of Middletown, PA son David Sieg and wife Tamara of Roswell, NM daughter Belinda Hammond and husband Rick of Artesia, NM ten grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

John served in both the Korean and Vietnam wars and will be interned at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery in Annville, PA. John was local truck driver in Roswell for twentyfive years.
