John Austin Roberts

A memorial service is scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Friday, September 25, 2009 at the Gateway Church for John Austin Roberts, 48 of Roswell who passed away September 19, 2009 at his home. John was cremated according to his wishes. Ron Fuller will officiate.

John was born on September 22, 1960 to Edward Clarence Roberts and Margaret Barcus Lynch. His mother survives him in Roswell

John is also survived by his brothers: Mike Roberts, Charles Roberts and Nicholas Lynch all of Roswell. He was preceded in death by his father Edward Clarence Roberts and a brother Robin Ray Roberts.

John was a life long resident of Roswell and was a Communications Supervisor for the New Mexico State Police Department. One of the things John enjoyed was being at his computer.

Honorary pallbearers will be members of the New Mexico State Police, Roswell Police Department and Chaves County Sheriffs Department.
