John Charles King

A memorial service is scheduled for 6:00 p.m., January 8, 2009 at the Ballard Chapel for John Charles King, 24, of Roswell who passed away January 4, 2009 at his home. John had been battling a long term and painful illness. He will be cremated according to his wishes. Pastor Onsy Whicker will officiate.

John was born on December 8, 1984 in Roswell, New Mexico to Lisa Shaw King. His mother survives him.

John married Claudia Gonzalez. She survives him at the family home.

John is survived by his brother: Joshua King of Eugene, Oregon; his grandmother: Fay Kendall of Roswell; his sister in laws: Nancy Jaramillo of Roswell, Olivia Loera of Georgia; his brother in law Alfonso Gonzalez and wife Angela of Del Rio, TX; his father and mother in law: Ramon and Olivia Gonzales; his life long best friend: Lucas Arias of Roswell; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

John was a life long resident of Roswell. He worked as an I.T. Manager for First Federal Bank.
