Joe "Boy" Salazar
7/20/1962 ~ 6/3/2018
Our dear and beloved son, brother, uncle and nephew Joe "Boy" Salazar, 55, was called home by our Heavenly Father on Sunday, June 3, 2018. Boys love for his family and our love for him will last thru eternity.

One of Boy's specialties was spelling, he won the spelling bee contest three years in a roll. He served in the Army National Guard for 6 years as a Rifle M16 Marksman, food repair specialist and wheel vehicle repair specialist. One of his favorite things to do was volunteering every year at the Community Kitchen for Thanksgiving. Boy had a heart of gold and would help anyone in need. He will be truly missed by all his family and friends and forever be in our hearts. Fly high with the Angles, Boy!

Those left to cherish his memory are his beloved mother Eva Cobos; brothers Floyd and wife Mary, David and wife Lucy, Randy and wife Shelly, Rudolph and wife Denise, Richard Jr and wife Valerie and Ruben and wife Shauna; beloved nieces June Rivas (Anthony), Brandy Salazar (Ramon), Michila Salazar, Nicole Salazar (Amanda) Eva Salazar (hito Phillip Salazar), Amber Salazar, Loretta, Anna, Savanah, Mercedes, McKenzie, Alexis, Larissa, Sirena, Cippi and Selena; nephews Ivan, Floyd Jr., Shawn, Randy Jr., Jacob, Vincent, Nicolas, Andrew, Alexander and Richard Jr III; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Joe was preceded in death by his father Ralph Cobos; sister Rose Salazar; brother Richard Cobos Sr; grandparents, uncles, nieces and great nephew Jeremiah Jaramillo.

We wish to thank everyone who helped and showed kindness to Boy during his lifetime and to us during our time of sorrow thru the outpouring of food, visits, cards, calls, etc....

Shadows passing through my mind...
Things that I have left behind,
People, places, happy times...
Gone forever, left behind.
Would that I could live again
See these places, see these friends,
Touch a face, Sing an Song...
Oh, so sadly, these are gone.
Left me now with passing Seasons,
And this is the very reason,
I've stored with love in mind
People, places, left behind.
Youth will pass me, leave me old.
But these dreams will be my gold.
Lovely places, precious friends...
They can always live again.
Shadows passing through my mind
Things that I have left behind.
