A Vigil with Rosary will be held at 7:00 pm, Friday, September 25, 2020 at Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church for Joe Rodriguez Jr., 41, who passed on Thursday, September 10, 2020 in Roswell. Mass of Resurrection following at 8:00 am, Saturday, September 26, 2020. Burial will follow at South Park Cemetery after a short cruise down memory lane. Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm, Friday, September 25, 2020 at Ballard Funeral Home.

Joe was born November 18, 1978 in Roswell, NM to Joe Rodriguez Sr. and Corrine Archuleta, his mother has preceded him in death along with his grandmother Alice Acevedo; grandfather Orlando Archuleta; aunts Mary Lou Sedillo, Ernestine “Symbie” Archuleta, Joyce Sanchez and Sylvia Archuleta; uncle Steve Archuleta, nephew Joesiah Salinas; great uncle David Dominguez and cousins Sammy Archuleta, Chris Archuleta and Manuel Munoz.

Those left to cherish his memory are his father Joe Rodriguez Sr.; grandfather Jesus Jose Rodriguez; grandmother Mary Hope Rodriguez Zepeda; brothers Tino Archuleta, Bobby Archuleta and Ray Baltazar; sister Alicia Rodriguez Salinas and uncle Ernest Archuleta.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Anthony Archuleta, Frankie Archuleta, Bobby Archuleta, Chris “Yogi” Herrera, David “Spook” Rivera and Albert “Tito” Artiaga.

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.

He maketh me to lie down in green pastures:

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
