Joe Lee Fields III

A memorial service is scheduled for 1:00 p.m., August 22, 2009 at First United Methodist Church for Joe Lee Fields III, 44, of Roswell who passed away on August 14, 2009. Rev. Gorton Smith will officiate the service. Immediately following the service will be a reception for friends and family. Any donations for his children are welcomed and can be collected at the reception.

Joe was born on November 20, 1964 in Boulder, CO to Joseph Lee Fields and Elizabeth Ann Handy Fields. His father survives him in Houston, TX.

Joe is also survived by his son: Joseph Lee Fields IV of Roswell; his daughter: Carolyn Fields of Grand Praire, TX, Leeann Fields of Roswell and Aurora Jolee Fields of Artesia, NM; his brother Danny Fields of Yucaipa, CA and Mike Fields of Hemet, CA; his sisters Debbie Fields-Rouse of Yucaipa, CA and Kate Fields of Hemet, CA; and two grand children Chelsea Fields and James Fields of Grand Praire, TX.

Joe has lived in Roswell since 1979 and worked as a contractor. He was a hunter, artist, pool player, coin collector, bowler and just and avid outdoorsman.
