Jimmy J. Galvan Jr., known as "Buggy," has left a profound mark on those who had the privilege of knowing him. Jimmy was born to Jimmy J. Galvan and Juanita Vasquez Teter on October 2, 1970, in Roswell, New Mexico. Jimmy's journey in this world came to a sudden end on March 28, 2024, in his hometown.
 
During his time among us, Jimmy dedicated himself to his work in various tire shops such as Lykins and Big O. His expertise and friendly demeanor made him a well-loved figure by the people that worked with him and knew him.

Jimmy is preceded in Death by his grandparents; Pete and Josephine Vasquez, Frank and Beatrice Rogers, Son, Michael Galvan, Brothers; Pedro Loya and Johnny Vasquez.
 
Those left to cherish his memory are his Parents; Jimmy J. Galvan (Vickie) and Juanita Vasquez Teter, Sons; Vincent Galvan of Hobbs, New Mexico, Jimmy Galvan III of Portales, New Mexico, Joe Galvan of Pueblo, Colorado, Brothers; Joseph Galvan from Roswell, New Mexico, Jerry Galvan from Beeville, Ricky Loya, Jerad Loya of Dallas, Texas and Phil Teter of Houston, Texas, Sisters; Angela Vasquez, Eva Loya of Dallas, Texas, Crystal Loya of Ft. Worth, Texas, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends, and one very special Aunt Patricia Sedillo.  While we mourn the loss of an exceptional individual, we also celebrate the memories of the laughter and love he brought into our lives.
 
A visitation in honor of Jimmy J. Galvan Jr. will be held on Wednesday, April 10, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Ballard Funeral Home in Roswell, New Mexico. A Rosary will follow from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM. The Funeral Mass will be conducted on Thursday, April 11, 2024, at St. Peters Catholic Church at 10:00 AM.
