Jewel Ratliff

Jewel Ina Ratliff, 99, of Las Cruces, NM, formerly of Roswell, NM. Born December 14, 1922. Passed after brief illness on Friday, February 11, 2022.

Jewel was preceded in death by husband Walter Ratliff and a daughter Sally Hatley, four of her husband's sons, Edward Ratliff, Jess Ratliff, Russell Ratliff, and Jack Ratliff; grandson Jimmy Hatley, and her sisters Annie, Ruby, and Inez.

Jewel is survived by Don Ratliff (Mary), Danny Ratliff (Gloria), Beverly Morrell, and sister Sue Chambers. She has ten grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Ratliff was a housekeeper for St. Mary’s Hospital for 20 plus years and a housekeeper for Casa Maria for over ten years.

There will be a viewing at Ballard’s Funeral Home, Wednesday, February 16, 2022 from 3:00 to 6:00 pm. A graveside service will be at 10:00 am., Thursday, February 17, 2022 at South Park Cemetery.
