Jesse Aguilar

Jesse A. Aguilar went to walk hand in hand with our Lord and Savior on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 in Lubbock, TX after a lengthy illness.

He was preceded in death by his parents Ejinio and Encanasion Aguilar; brothers Vincent, Jesus, Eddie Gene and Frank; sisters Amelia and Concha.

Those left to cherish his memory are his children Jesse Jr., Theresa, Bernice and their respected spouses; his special sister Consuelo; eight grandchildren Tonya, Jesse, April, Jessica, Megan, Tayla, Danielle and Anthony; nine great grandchildren Gaige, Malia, Aaron, Haeli, Phoenix, Asher, Maddox, Isabella and MacKinzie and his four sisters Trinie, Margie, Mary and Louisa.

He enjoyed drinking his Bud Light and watching old western movies, Dallas Cowboys and Denver Broncos, whichever team was winning was his favorite. Jesse loved sporting his Dodge Challenger and visiting his friends. He had three special little girls that he loved with all his heart, Chealsey and Kelsey Salas and Jaz. He will be deeply missed.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am, Thursday, February 15, 2018 at Ballard Funeral Home Chapel with Deacon Howard Herring of St. Peters Catholic Church officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm on Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at Ballard Funeral Home. Burial of cremains will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, February 16, 2018 at South Park Cemetery.


I Made It Home
I just wanted to let you all know that I made it home.
The journey wasn't an easy one, but it didn't take too long
Everything is so pretty here, so white, so fresh and new
I wish that you all could close your eyes and that you could see it too.
Please try not to be sad for me. Try to understand God is taking care of me.
I'm in the shelter of his hands.
Here there is no sadness, no sorrow and no pain
Here there is no crying and I will never hurt again.
Here it is so peaceful when all the Angels sing.
I really have to go for now... I've just got to try my wings
