Jeremy was born September 2, 1989 in Roswell, NM to Nicholas Natividad and Maria N. Delgado. His family was long time locals to Dexter and he was brought up in the same community that was his parents' legacy. He attended High School in Dexter and loved to participate in sports, even giving football a shot. A few years after high school Jeremy met the love of his life Rebecca Mireles.
Jeremy took a job with Weatherford International during the oil boom in West Texas. He worked the skill intensive job of a mechanical assembler. He was responsible for the assembly and operation of several pump jacks, whose mechanized metronome drilling, dominated the East Texas horizon. The pump jacks required constant care and supervision for smooth continuous operation. A job he took seriously and worked meticulously at.
In his off time he played softball for a local Odessa team called, "the Desperados". He loved to play and his passion for the game could only be met by his willingness to try. Rebecca's brother, Bobby, had brought Jeremy into the team, giving him the position of catcher. Jeremy was never in any danger of being recruited by a professional team but for him it didn't matter. Softball is a tradition in the Permian Basin and with the warm nights, a reprieve from the hot days; it was fun to get out to play. He even gave the Weatherford soccer team a try.
Jeremy loved Rebecca profoundly and the seven years they spent together were some of the best moments of his life. He loved being a father and loved his boys Patrick, JDen, Brylen, and daughter Nevaeh deeply and wholly in a way only a father could. They were first and fore most in his life and he would give anything to be with them.
Jeremy is survived by his parents, Nick and Maria Natividad of Lubbock, TX; wife, Rebecca Natividad; stepson, Patrick Arredondo; sons JDen and Brylen Natividad of Odessa, TX; daughter Nevaeh Carrillo of Dexter, NM; brothers, Nicky Natividad of Pecos, TX; Danny Natividad and Jesse Natividad; sisters, Marisol Natividad of Roswell, NM; Elizabeth Natividad of El Paso, TX.
