Jeanne Hardcastle King

Jeanne Hardcastle King, 77, passed away on June 4, 2010 in Roswell, New Mexico. A memorial service is scheduled for Monday, June 7, 2010, 2:00 PM at Ballard Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Richard Grisham will officiate. Jeanne was cremated according to her wishes, and her ashes will be buried in the Tinnie Cemetery at a later date.
Jeanne was born on March 28, 1933 in Roswell, New Mexico to Samuel E. Hardcastle and Mable A. Purcella. Her parents preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death were her brothers: Samuel Elmo Hardcastle, Jr. and Robert Owen Hardcastle and sister, Willie Bell Hite.
Jeanne was a member of the American Legion Auxillary and loved to build small animal displays at the County Fair in Snyder, Texas each year. She worked in the farming and ranching industry. Jeanne loved her animals and raised chihuahuas and livestock.
Jeanne is survived by her husband, Larry E. King her brothers: Samuel E. Hardcastle of Borger, Texas, Ray Hardcastle of Roswell, New Mexico, and James Hardcastle of Montrose, Colorado, and her sister: Mary Herrington of Roswell, New Mexico.
The family would like to give special thanks to Jeannes friends: Debbie, Donny, and Cindy of Snyder, Texas for the loving care they gave her. They would also like to thank Allen and Betty for their help and support as well.
