James Albert Chambers

James Albert Chambers went to be with the Lord at his home in Roswell New Mexico on April 3, 2013.
James was preceded in death by two brothers: Michael Glen Chambers and David Allen Chambers as well as his father, Texas Thomas Chambers.
James is survived by his wife Nichole Chambers, of Roswell and six children: James Tye Chambers of Ruidoso, New Mexico Trey Len Chambers, Ryan Terry, Nicholas Terry, Allison Cupp, and Ashley Cupp, three grandchildren: Bella, Macy, and Gage all from Roswell, New Mexico. James is also survived by his mother Betty Della Dyer of Leona, Texas one brother Thomas Wayne Chambers and wife Cindy Chambers of Centerville, Texas and one sister Rosemary Matthews and husband Jerry of Crockett, Texas. James is also survived by his motherinlaw Vickie Provost of Roswell grandparents Rev. Richard Smith and wife Sue of Roswell and fatherinlaw Russ Provost and wife Stephanie of Boise, Idaho.
James was born in Bryan Texas and moved to North Zulch, Texas and later moved to Leona and went to Centerville school, where he graduated from High School. James went to school in Houston for HVAC service and repair and worked for his uncle Thomas Kelley, in Houston until he moved to Roswell in 1995. James owned and operated his own business, Chambers Mechanical Services or CMS in Roswell. James loved to work hard and play hard. He loved to hunt especially big game and he travelled to Mexico and across the US to hunt. James also enjoyed golf, poker, and travelling as well as, cooking with his wife Nichole. James was known in Roswell as the one to rely on for the best charbroiled steaks. James loved to serve big meals for family and friends in his home. James also enjoyed barbecue cookoffs at every opportunity and recently placed in competition. James took great pride in everything he involved himself in. He loved people and spent a great deal of time standing around in the garage with the tail gate down, with family and friends just shooting the bull with New Mexico friends. James was always diligent to keep in touch with friends and family by phone at the drop of a hat. The Texas born man had many country sayings and viewpoints, what his wife calls Jamesisms that will be remembered by many. James was generous and extravagant at times because he loved to bless people. James loved the five on Fox News and didnt care for liberal views. James was famous for looking for new inventions. James was passionate about life.
James will be placed to rest at the Wall Ranch Cemetery in Centerville as he wanted. James attributed his conversation experience to Mrs. Wall and cried at her passing. James second family was the Wall family.
The memorial service in Roswell will be Tuesday April 9th at 4pm at Highland Baptist Church, officiated by, Rev. Richard Smith, and the graveside service will be Friday, 10am, at the Wall Ranch family cemetery. The family requests that bright colors be worn in his memory. A reception will follow at the Roswell Country Club to celebrate James life. James will be greatly missed by many friends and family.
