James F. Bunker

Burial will take place Monday June 11, 2007 at 2:30 pm at the Santa Fe National Cemetery for James F. Bunker, 86, of Roswell who passed away June 5, 2007 at his residence. Mr. Bunker was cremated according to his wishes.

James was born on April 5, 1921 in Oglesby, Illinois to Frank and Effie Augerbright Bunker. Both parents have preceded him in death.

James was married to Elda J. Bunker on May 31, 1946 in Rock Island, Illinois. She has preceded him in death.

James is survived by his three daughters: Christy VanAsker, Louedna Bunker and Elizabeth Robinson all of Roswell; and one sister: Mae Mahnesmith of Kewanee, Illinois; two grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

James has lived in Roswell for 22 years and was a member of the Elks Club and the American Legion. He was a retired truck driver. He served in the United States Army and was a veteran of World War II.
