Ignacia Natera

Ignacia Perez Natera 87 went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, June 14, 2024, surrounded by the love of her family. Ignacia was born on July 15, 1936, in Roswell, NM to Benjamin and Concha Perez. She loved to spend as much time as possible with her family, when family would come to visit, she always had a meal for them. Ignacia was the kind of person that no matter who you were if you were hungry, she was going to feed you. Every morning you could find her outside drinking a cup of coffee and listening to her radio, Once the radio was turned on it would not be shut off till it was time to go to bed. Ignacia enjoyed going to the thrift stores, garage sales and the casino every chance she could. One of the pranks she liked to pull on the family was going to Walmart; she would find just the right time when the family was not watching her that she would make her getaway. Once the family realized she was missing they would search the entire store for her. This would drive the family crazy. Many times, the family would find her outside sitting on a bench waiting on the family.

Ignacia is preceded in death by her husband Juan Natera, her parents Benjamin and Concha Perez, three brothers Ben Perez, Carlos Perez, Arturo Perez, and her daughter Monica Natera.

Ignacia is survived by three sons Ray Casillas of Deming, NM, Danny Casillas of Albuquerque, NM, John Natera of Roswell, NM. Two daughters Sandra Torres of Roswell, NM, Delores Avent of Midland, TX. Her Brother Andrew Bilbado and his wife Carol of Ohio. Her uncle Alex Ortega of Roswell, NM. Six grandchildren Ann Cobbs, Bobby Avent, Janisa Casillas, Daniel Casillas Ray Casillas, Issac Natera. Ten great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be John Natera, Danny Casillas, Ray Casillas, Bobby Avent, Robert Torres, and Chris Medina.

Officiating the Services will be Pastor De La Santos.

A Funeral Service to honor her life will be held at Ballard Chapel on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at 10:00 am with Pastor Eugene De La Santos officiating. Following the service, Ignacia will be laid to rest at South Park Cemetery 3101 S. Main St, Roswell, NM 88203.
