Hubert Wade

A funeral service is scheduled for 10 AM, Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at Ballard Funeral Home Chapel for Hubert "Buster" E. Wade, 80, who passed away on Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at his home, surrounded by his loved ones. Burial will follow at South Park Cemetery.

Buster was born October 12, 1934 in Roswell, NM to David E. Wade and Dorothy Z. (Green) Wade, who preceded him in death.

Those left to cherish his memory are his companion for twenty years, Betty Bevers of Roswell; son Matt Wade of Roswell; daughters Toni Lynch and husband Clint of Roswell, Dorothy "Dottie" Cleveland and husband Todd of Albuquerque; sister Dorothy "Peaches" Crawford and husband Grant and son Grant Crawford II of Los Lunas; grandchildren Matthew Eric Wade, Petra Barnett, Heidi Renae Wade, David M. Wade, Heather N. Borg, Lacey D. Kennedy, and Fayth R. Lynch.

Buster was a lifelong resident of Roswell, NM where he graduated from Roswell High School in 1953. He worked as the Assist Shop Foreman for the New Mexico State Highway Department and retired from there with 34 years' service. Buster enjoyed fishing, hunting, drag racing and working on cars. He liked to shoot pool and shoot pistols, rifles, and shotguns. Buster loved his dogs Buddy, Pepe, Panda and Bo Bo.
Those serving as pallbearers are Grant Crawford, Todd Cleveland, Clint Lynch, Tom Adams, Matthew Eric Wade and Matt Wade.
