Herman was born November 12, 1929 in Marion, Iowa to John Stewart and Harriet Ruggless Hadsall. His parents preceded him death.

He is survived by his wife Betty Decker Hadsall children Julie Anne McElhaney and Gary, Howard John Hadsall and wife Jane, Peter Loy Hadsall and Kurt Forest Hadsall and wife Cecelia sister Avis Tassin and grandchildren Carrie, Brooks, Heath, Jacob, Adam and Nathan.

Herman and Betty met as coworkers at AndersonErickson Dairy in Des Moines, Iowa marrying July 27, 1950. Herman worked as an automotive service manager and independent consultant in multiple states throughout the United States. He and Betty moved to Roswell in 1978. Herman and Betty were founding members of Grace Community Church serving faithfully in multiple ministries.
